As per our honorable Prime minister of India Mr. Modi said that "if the 20th century saw India's foremost technical institutes - the IITs - make a name for themselves globally, the 21st century required that India's ITIs (Industrial Training Institutes), acquire global recognition for producing quality skilled manpower". Because India will have a surplus manpower of 4 to 5 crore over the next decade, the Prime Minister emphasized the need to provide this youthful manpower with skills and ability to tackle global challenges. Therefore in today's scenario Indian youth has to look for industrial training and skilled development programme and especially there is huge number of job opportunity in Health Safety and Environment profession. Being a HSE representative there is very high demand from industries like Construction Industry, Power Plant, Air-Craft, Cargo Industry, Shipping Corporation, Steel Plants, Petrochemicals, Refineries, Textile-Cotton Industries, Iron Plant, Mining Industry, Food Industry, Paint Industry, Plastic and Polymer Industry and many more Industries in India and outside of India especially in Gulf Countries. The Factory Act 1948 and Building Other Construction Worker (BOCW) Act 1996, a states company has to deploy Safety Representatives and develop safety culture. Due to these governing bodies Indian industries have no other choice and they have to think and develop safety culture on the site and off the site. Now days many industries not only recruit safety representative during construction phase also on commissioning phase hence job opportunities are huge. During my 15 years of HSE experience I met and worked with many HSE representatives although they have certificate, degree and experience but for the sake of quality of safety work activity they did not know anything about national and international HSE Standard, Act and Regulation, because most of the Safety Institutes are just selling their certificate instead of producing quality training and education. And it will become havoc when these HSE Representatives want to get next level of opportunities or responsibilities. Therefore DISD believe to produce quality of education and practical training so that trainees will not feel and face anything new after getting the job. Also its life time experience for trainees, once they get enrollment they can get in touch life time, as we offer life time assistance.
Some where I also feel very much need of Personality Development Course especially for North Indian Students therefore DISD offers a research based Personality Development course, which helps to trainees overcome fear, gain confidence, gain knowledge of Personal Grooming, Interview Handling Skill, Public Speaking, Spoken English, Voice & Accent.
